Folks,
I usually send out my ugly sunrise/sunset calendar in January, but time slipped away this year. But as a bonus, I also attaching a calendar I made for a friend in Santa Fe, if you plan to travel there. Calendar shows sun, moon and twilight info for every day of the year. It's for San Francisco, but it's very accurate anywhere from Santa Cruz to Santa Rosa.
It's a pdf, so you can view it online, or print it out. If you are traveling to Europe for bike tour this summer, you can make a one-month calendar page for anywhere in the world. Website is sunrisesunset.com.
I like having a whole year at my fingertips. For example, today the sun set at 5:43, 30 minutes later than it did on Jan 14. We will gain another 30 minutes of evening light by March 12, but DST begins March 8, so sunset will be 7:13. And we will gain another 30 minutes of evening light by April 13.
