Hopefully this doesn't go against protocol or offend anybody on this email list, but just trying to get the word out that I'm selling a Cannondale tandem bicycle. Hoping to engage the local cycling community.
Purchased in 2008, and ridden quite lightly, it is in near-new perfect condition. We're just not riding it, and it's going to waste. Needs new owners that can get true joy from it.
It's an aluminum frame, size large / medium (large for the pilot, medium for the stoker) decked out with an Ultegra 3x10 drivetrain, and Avid disc brakes.
Wheels are Sun rims laced to (Petaluma's finest) White Industries hubs. New Vittoria Terreno Zero 700x35 tires...rolls super fast and totally bomb-proof (plus still ample clearance to mount even larger size gravel tires).
FSA drop handlebars for the pilot, and shock absorber seat post for the stoker. Lots of braze-ons for bottle cages, racks, etc. Touring capable certainly.
This ride can climb mountains, descend like a rocket in total safety, and roll like bullet-train in the flats.
