I'm planning a rather long ride on Saturday. It will head to Occidental very circuitously: Chileno to Alexander, Carmody, Bloomfield, Burnside, Sexton, W. Sexton, Tilton; Grandview, Cherry Ridge, Mill Station, Sullivan, Thomas, Harrison Grade; We'll stop in Occidental then head up the relatively gentle grade of Bittner, down Joy, over to Valley Ford, and then (perhaps) up Franklin School before heading back to Petaluma via Fallon and Chileno.
Assuming I get any takers, I plan to stay together on the flats; everyone will climb at their pace, but I plan to regroup at the top of all climbs. Although the pace is listed as fast, it will not be fierce (it is, after all, a longish ride).
