Metric Century, Sunday March 26, 2023
- Socializing friendly B pace (13-14 mph avg) with regrouping as needed
- Hilly (3,900 ft elev, up to 13% grades)
- Metric Century 100 km / 63 miles, ~4h50m riding time, ~5h30m+ total including stop at Wildflour Bread in Freestone
- Please arrive ready to roll by 9:30 am at WALNUT PARK, D St & Petaluma Blvd South. We will leave PROMPTLY at 9:40 am, finishing after 3 pm..

Description: Metric Century ride from Walnut Park to Occidental, with a stop in Freestone at Wildflour Bread, returning through Valley Ford and via Chileno Valley Rd. Ride routes are currently really scenic, with fields of blooming wild flowers.

This ride is joint posted with our friends at the Santa Rosa Cycling Club, so advance sign up is required to distinguish with which club you are riding. PWCC and SRCC club accident insurance will not cover the other club's members, and since PWCC and SRCC have some joint members, it needs to be clear which club’s insurance will apply in case of an accident.

If you are a joint PWCC/SRCC member, please sign up with me before 8 pm, Saturday, Mar 25, indicating "Sun Mar 26 B Pace ride", by sending an email to me at mailto:sarmientomike@gmail.com and let me know if you are riding as a PWCC or SRCC participant. If you are riding as an SRCC member, you must pre-register by clicking on this Registration Link. If you are riding as a PWCC member, see the paragraph above.
If you are not a member of either club:
- If you'd like to ride as a PWCC guest, we ask that fill out the PWCC Liability Waiver and provide the completed form to me at the beginning of the ride After your initial "try-us-out-ride" we ask that you join PWCC.
- If you'd like to ride as an SRCC guest, follow the pre-registration instructions above and also print the SRCC Liability Waiver form and provide the completed form to me at the beginning of the ride. After your initial SRCC guest ride, we ask that you join SRCC.
